Jennifer Danielle Glenn, 33, of Newport News, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Riverside Hospital in Newport News, as a result of a sudden change in her condition.
Her baby daughter, Ava Simone Glenn was born on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, and passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010, at the Riverside Hospital. She was three months premature.
Jennifer was born on May 13, 1976, in Hampton, to Dwight "Ike" Glenn and the late Kay Hall Glenn.
Jennifer was an Administrative Technician for the City of Newport News.
She is survived by her father, Dwight "Ike" Glenn of Goldsboro, North Carolina; a daughter, Mina L. Glenn of Goldsboro, North Carolina; a sister, Mirian L. Glenn of Goldsboro, North Carolina; and a brother, Wesley J. Dyre of Goldsboro, North Carolina; a fiance, Derrick Wells of Newport News; and a host of aunts, uncle, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at the Little Zion Baptist Church in Orange, and the interment followed at Westview Cemetery in Orange. Pastor Marion F. Wilkerson officiated.
